2027 Winter House League - Overview

  • 9 Week Season - Saturdays
  • Season Starts:  January 16
  • Season Ends: March 13
  • Players meet 1 time per week. Players meet on Saturdays
    • 3 Preseason Practices
      • Jan 16, Jan 23 & Jan 30 (Sat)
    • 6 Game Days
      • Feb: 6, 13, 20, 27 March: 6, 13 (Sat)
        • Game Prep (20 minutes)
          • Working on plays and key concepts
          • Offensive and Defensive Sets
          • Situational Drills
          • Warm-Up and Skill Development
        • Games - 2 18 minute halves
  • All teams are Coached by Evolution Basketball Coaches - Consistent Coaching for All Players
    • Coaches will form teams after the preseason practices
    • Teams and Divisions assignments will be emailed out after 3 preseason practices.
    • Players will have the same game time for the entire season

Details & Times 

Evolution Leagues focus is on the development and refining of each players' individual skills and basketball IQ. Our goal is for all players to get the most development out of every minute they are on the court. High level, experienced coaching for elementary and middle school children who want to learn the game of basketball.
 
 
  • The goal of the Evolution House  League is for children to have fun, learn the fundamentals of basketball, and for the teams to be as balanced as possible to promote competitive games.

  • Preseason: Jan 16, 23, 30 (SAT)
    • K & 1st grade,  8:30 to 9:30am
    • 2nd & 3rd grade,  9:40 to 10:40am
    • 4th & 5th grade,  10:50 to 11:50am
    • 6th grade, 12 to 1pm
    • 7th & 8th grade,  1 to 2pm
  • Game Dates (Saturdays)
    • Feb: 6, 13, 20, 27
    • March: 6, 13
      • Players will have the same game time for the entire season
  • Game Times by Grade
    • K: 8:30am / 9:30am / 10:30am
    • 1st: 8:30am / 9:30am / 10:30am
    • 2nd: 9:30 / 10:30/ 11:30 am
    • 3rd: 10:30 or 11:30am
    • 4th: 10:30 or 11:30am
    • 5th: 11:30 /12:45 /1:45pm
    • 6th: 12:45 or 1:45pm
    • 7th: 12:45 or 1:45pm
    • 8th: 12:45 or 1:45pm
  • + Coaches will assign each player to the division that is best for their development.
  • * These are projected game times
  • Players will have the same game time for the entire season
  • Schedule will be emailed out on the week of Feb 2nd.
  • Each Division will have at least 4 teams
